Do you have any companions? Pets you call your friends? If you're like me, and you do, you'll understand why taking part in the OSPCA's Portraits for Paws fundraising event was so important to me. Artists volunteered their services to paint the portrait of a donor's pet whether it was a dog, cat, bird, hamster, lizard or any other animal. I was assigned digital pictures of four different dogs and painted each on one of my Mixed Media Art pieces. It felt good to give back and help those who work so hard to look after and find forever homes for animals.
